Sledding, back in March :)

OK. I promise this is the last post about winter.

This was such a fun day too though, because after we went snow tubing I really thought that was going to be the last snow we saw of the season. Then out of no where we get an early March snow storm! Riley and I were super excited. We bundled up and headed outside.

This....quickly turned into this....
and this.We needed something more exciting, so we jumped in the car and found this.....After climbing to the top, we were ready! Here we go! (not to worry, I jumped on before he went down)see :)!
We ended up going down about 10 more times, and if it was up to Riley (and if I was in better shape) we would have done it 100 times. He loved it.....almost as much as parking next to this monster truck :)!

Snow Tubing, back in Feb :)

So I'm still trying to catch up on my blog posts. I was just going to start fresh and not worry about posting about things in the past, but we had so much fun tubing that I just had to share.

We took a day trip to Ski Liberty with my friend Jeanette, and her son Hudson, and had a blast. We will definitely be going again next winter!

Here is a slide show from our super fun day...

Quick trip to PA!

Back in Feb., Riley and I...along with my mom and brother Don...decided to visit my Aunt Donna for her birthday. Even though it was a quick weekend trip, we had a lot of fun spending time with family. Not only did we see Aunt Donna and Grandma, but we were able to visit with Aunt Kathleen(Grandma's sister) and her family as well. We always love the time we get to spend with our family from Pittsburgh and wish we could do it more often. Some pictures from the trip.....

Country Music Fan

For awhile now Riley has really enjoyed listening to music, mostly in the car though. Of course all I listen to is country, so Riley has become quite the country music fan. A few months ago, he discovered his Daddy's iPod and loves the fact that he can play his favorite songs whenever he wants. It is so cute. He has certain songs that he really likes and will sing along most of the time, as long as no one is watching. Right now, Rodney Atkins is his favorite singer and "Life is a Highway" from the Cars movie is one of his all time favorite songs.

Picking out his song.
Of course.."These Are My People" by Rodney Atkins!

Good Boy, Bent!

So the other day....ok, back in February :)....I could hear Riley talking to Bentley. He was telling him what a good dog he was and how he loved him. Then Riley yells to me and says he gave Bentley a sticker for being a good boy. I of course thought he was just messing around, but when I went into the living room, there was Bentley proudly showing off his sticker!

Update on Dad's House

On another nice weekend back in Feb., we headed down to Lake Anna to check on my Dad's lake house. We had not been there since this trip last Oct. and we wanted to see how much more was done. Most of the siding had been put on, and they were working on the stone for the chimney. Most of the drywall was up inside and my Dad, and Riley :), were painting on the first coats of primer. We love going to the lake and can't wait to enjoy the house, hopefully by this summer!
